PLANNING YOUR PROJECT
What do you need to achieve, what is already in place and what output does your team need? These questions define a useful starting point.
A new provider, software package or delivery location can affect several workflows at once. The search therefore starts with the task: which capability is missing, which systems will stay and which conditions are essential? Skyclar Data supports procurement, operations and management teams in clarifying these questions. Our customer operations experience is particularly relevant to complex service and sales processes. The method can also support other needs when the market, specialist requirements and available evidence are defined together at the beginning.
We first distinguish mandatory requirements, comparative strengths and open questions. A provider statement does not automatically carry the same weight as supporting evidence or an observation from an interview. Criteria, weighting and the available information are recorded clearly. In a documented nearshore project, 18 providers were assessed; after three exclusions, 15 candidates remained in three priority tiers. This illustrates an assessment output and the next validation step. It does not suggest that every provider reviewed has already undergone an on-site audit.
Agreed outputs may include a requirements profile, a comparable shortlist, unresolved validation questions and a reasoned recommendation. Your team can see the assumptions behind a decision and where additional interviews or evidence are needed. We can also help prepare a pilot and hand over to procurement or operations. To start, provide the task, preferred countries or languages, expected volumes and known exclusions. An existing provider can remain part of the comparison, making it possible to evaluate improvement, extension and replacement options on the same basis.
Our first conversation establishes the scope of your project. You do not need a finished specification. A short description of the task, a preferred timeframe and the question currently holding you back are useful starting points. We can then decide whether an assessment, workshop, specific enquiry or pilot is appropriate. A proposal sets out the agreed scope, the input required from your team and the next steps. Decisions about extending the work are based on what we learn, keeping the initial engagement focused and understandable.
Good to know
No. We search for suitable partners and solutions for your specific needs, including outside contact centres. Customer operations is an area of particularly deep expertise.
An agreed requirements profile, comparable options, a reasoned shortlist and the agreed assessment findings. We can also support negotiations, the pilot and handover.
Yes. Current partners and new options can be assessed against the same requirements. This helps determine whether to expand, supplement or replace an arrangement and identifies questions that remain open.
The depth follows the decision. A market overview needs different checks from a final partner selection. We distinguish provider statements, documentary evidence, interviews and, where agreed, on-site validation. The scope is established at the start.
Costs depend on the agreed assessment and setup, services or modules, interfaces and ongoing support. After clarifying your needs, we provide a proposal covering the specific scope and commercial terms.
Timing depends on scope, available information and required approvals. The first conversation defines a practical starting point. We then align preparation, the schedule and the input needed from your team.
